Job Title: MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

  • MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
  • The successful candidate will be working with the Supervisory Team and will be responsible for maintaining the operations of the plant. This will include using tools, machines, equipment and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment to operational standards of the processing plant. Work includes identification of defect or worn mechanical components or equipment, repair/replacement of worn/faulty components or equipment and modifications.
  • Essential duties of the job
  • Perform operational maintenance of machines/equipment
  • Perform equipment condition monitoring and recording
  • Shut down an isolate machines/equipment
  • Repair and fit engineering components
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Maintain and overhaul mechanical equipment
  • Perform fault diagnosis, installation and removal of bearings
  • Maintain and repair mechanical drivers and mechanical transmission assemblies
  • Perform levelling and alignment of machines and engineering components
  • Perform installation and removal of mechanical seals and gland packing.
  • Perform engineering measurements and computations
  • Interpret technical drawings and undertake manual handling
  • Use hand tools, power tools/hand held operations
  • Plan maintenance schedules and work with maintenance team
  • Ongoing training of plant personnel
  • Manage process operators and maintenance personnel
  • Manage quality control and safety systems as well as review and implement new procedures
  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Mechanical fitting or trade orientated background
  • 10 years' experience in plant processes and operations preferably with oil
  • Supervisory experience
  • Organisational and planning ability
  • Excellent analytical and problems solving skills
  • Administrative and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and plant equipment management software
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Working Conditions:
  • The successful candidate will also have some Call Out responsibilities.
  • Salary range: AUD $100,000 to $120,000 package (this includes base salary, 9% superannuation and company vehicle)
  • Assistance with relocation to Western Australia: air flights to Perth, Western Australia and assist in finding accommodation
