Job Title: Press Machinist (1,000 Tons Experience)

  • Operate Brake and handle materials
  • Read basic drawings
  • Mark out measurements from drawings including bend lines and identification of jobs
  • Set up tooling and die as required or as specified by work order
  • Operate Brake Presses 1000 TONS
  • Handle jobs processed through presses
  • Daily inspection of equipment for oil leaks and mechanical onto faults
  • Operate traveling jib cranes and overhead cranes
  • Load and unload completed job and sign off the inspection report
  • Maintain goo housekeeping around the work area
  • Check each completed job and sign off the inspection report
  • Conduct all duties in accordance with procedures as specified by the quality system to ensure quality maintained
  • Use brake press eg Pearson 1000 tons
  • Good work ethic
  • Experience in using multiple machinery
  • Willingness to learn fro others
